Clubhouse closed for Christmas week

The clubhouse will be closed during the week of Christmas, December 23-28. We will resume normal operation on December 30.

The clubhouse will also be closed January 1st, in observance of the New Years’ Day holiday.

Tonight’s HOA Meeting is postponed

The Hampton Hills HOA board meeting originally scheduled for tonight, September 30th will be rescheduled for October 8th at 7:30, AFTER the Condo board’s regularly-scheduled monthly meeting.

GATE SYSTEM under repair – AGAIN!

As many of you may know, the Hampton Hills clubhouse was struck by lightning in the back by the pool area on September 7th around 4 PM. There was fire damage which was immediately contained.

However, the residual effect is that many of the systems that Hampton Hills uses to run the community were damaged by the strike, including the gate system and some of the security systems.

To now, the security systems have been restored, but we are still working with the community’s insurance company to get the gates repaired. Please be patient and realize that there isn’t much we can do to speed up this process. We are doing everything we can to not waste your money to continuously repair this system.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. This system is sensitive to lightning, which is out of our control. Please bear with us during this time. If you have any specific questions or comments, please feel free to bring them to the meeting on September 30th at 7 PM. We will happily address your concerns directly.

HOA monthly meeting postponed

Attention residents,

Please be notified that the September meeting will be postponed due to a scheduling conflict. We will hold the meeting on September 30th, 2013 in the Clubhouse.

State of the front entry gate system


As you may know there was a lightning strike nearby last weekend. Lightning has never played nicely with our gate system, and so we have had to take measures to repair the system since then.

Residents’ entrance: The antenna was damaged in the strike and had to be replaced. Currently, we are using a loaner antenna while ours is out for repair. The gate should be working normally.

Guest entrance: The call box display was damaged and needs to be replaced. Until it can be repaired, the guest entrance will remain open. We expect these repairs to be completed this week.

Exit gate: There was a recent accident involving a resident and the exit gate, in which the swinging arm was damaged beyond repair. It is a custom-fabricated part and needs to be replaced. This takes time, but is already in process.

Please bear with us as we work through these poorly-timed issues. Please know that 90% of the problems we experience related to gates are caused by drivers hitting the gates or otherwise damaging the system. We always repair them as soon as possible.

Who wants free patio furniture?

As you may notice we recently got new furniture for the pool deck. This means that our old furniture is available tor you!

If you would like to have some patio furniture for use at your home, please stop by the clubhouse during business hours and speak to Derrick. Limit 4 per household, proof of ownership is required, and must be in good standing with your association dues. You will be required to provide transportation of the chairs back to your home.
